| Intelligent Orthopaedics was formed by and orthopaedic surgeon and two engineers in 2005. It span out from fracture healing research conducted at Staffordshire University, The University Hospital of North Staffordshire and Keele University.
Its first product STORM is currently available in the EU, USA and Australasia. Intelligent Orthopaedics is ISO 13584 registered and its products are CE marked and have FDA clearace to Market. |

| Since it's formation Intelligent Orthopaedics has been fortunate to both be nomintaed for and win prestigious awards.
STORM was finalist for Medical Futures Best Medical Device and for the Royal Academy of Engineering MacRobert Award, it was winner of the Lord Stafford Award for Achievement in Innovation. |
